General Shop & Header Icon Settings #
Configure the visibility of key e-commerce icons in your header and manage general store settings. These options are found in Appearance > Customize > Shop > General.
Header Icons Visibility #
Control which e-commerce and user account icons are displayed in your website’s header for easy access.
- Show Account Icon: Enable or disable the “My Account” icon. This provides users with a quick link to login, register, or view their account dashboard.
- Show Wishlist Icon: Enable or disable the wishlist icon. This allows customers to save products they are interested in for later. (Note: Requires a compatible wishlist plugin.)
- Show Cart Icon: Enable or disable the shopping cart icon. This is essential for WooCommerce stores, as it shows the cart contents and provides a link to the checkout page.
Currency Switcher #
- Currency Switcher Shortcode: If you are using a multi-currency plugin for WooCommerce (e.g., Aelia Currency Switcher, WOOCS), it will typically provide a shortcode. Paste that shortcode in this field to display a currency selector dropdown in your header, allowing international customers to shop in their preferred currency.
Product Catalog (Shop Archive) Settings #
Configure the layout, content, and design of your main shop page and product category/tag archives. These settings are essential for creating an effective online storefront. You can find them in Appearance > Customize > Shop > Product Catalog.
Page Layout & Content #
- Shop Layout: Choose the default sidebar layout for your shop archive pages.
- No Sidebar: Full-width product grid for a modern, immersive store.
- Left Sidebar: Places the sidebar (with filters and widgets) to the left of the products.
- Right Sidebar: Places the sidebar to the right of the products.
- Catalog View: Choose the default view for displaying products. Currently, Grid View is supported.
- Shop Page Content Section: Enable this to add a custom content area (e.g., a description, banner, or shortcode) above the product grid on your shop page.
- Shop Page Content: If the content section is enabled, use this rich text editor to add HTML, text, or shortcodes. You can also Add Media like images or videos. This is perfect for a welcome message or promotional banner.
- Shop Content Layout: Choose if the shop content section should be Full Width or Boxed Width.
- Shop Content Padding: Control the top and bottom padding (in pixels) for the shop content section to add spacing around it.
Product Display & Sorting #
- Default Product Sorting: Choose the default order for products in your catalog (e.g., Default sorting, Popularity, Average rating, Newness, Price: low to high, Price: high to low).
- Products per Page: Set the total number of products to display on each shop archive page before pagination begins (e.g.,
12). - Products per Row: Control the number of products displayed in a single row on different devices for a perfect responsive grid.

Product Box Design #
Customize the appearance of the individual product boxes/cards in the grid.
- Content Align: Choose the alignment of text inside the product box (e.g., Left Align).
- Add To Cart Button: Choose the style for the “Add to Cart” button on archive pages (e.g., Default).
- Show Category: Enable to display the product category above the product title.
- Show Ratings: Enable to display the star rating.
- Show Review Count: Enable to display the number of reviews next to the rating.
- Show Short Description: Enable to display a short excerpt from the product description.
- Quick View: Enable or disable the quick view functionality, which allows customers to preview product details in a pop-up without leaving the archive page.
- Box Shadow: Apply a custom box shadow effect to the product boxes to make them stand out. Configure the shadows:
- Color
- Horizontal & Vertical Length (offset)
- Blur Radius
- Spread
Single Product Page Settings #
Configure the layout and components of your individual product pages to optimize the shopping experience and increase conversions. You can find these settings in
Appearance > Customize > Shop > Product Page.Page Layout & Gallery #
- Single Page Layout: Choose the default sidebar layout for your product pages.
- No Sidebar: A full-width layout to give maximum focus to the product.
- Left Sidebar: Places a sidebar to the left of the product details.
- Right Sidebar: Places a sidebar to the right of the product details.
- Product Gallery Style: Choose the layout for the product image gallery. The Left Thumbnails style displays a vertical stack of thumbnails on the left side of the main product image.
- Product Image Hover Zoom: Enable this feature to allow customers to see a zoomed-in detail of the product image when they hover their cursor over it. This is crucial for products where detail is important.
Product Summary #
Customize the appearance of the product information section (title, price, add to cart button, short description).
- Text Align: Control the alignment of the text in the product summary section (e.g., Align Left).
- Review Count: Choose whether to show the number of reviews in parentheses next to the star rating (e.g.,
(12)).
- Yes: Display the review count.
- No: Hide the review count, showing only the star rating.
- Show Meta / Categories: Toggle the visibility of product meta information such as categories and tags. This is usually displayed beneath the “Add to Cart” button.
Product Tabs #
Control the style and content of the product tabs (Description, Additional Information, Reviews).
- Product Tabs Style: Choose the visual style for the tabs. The Tabs Normal option displays them as traditional horizontal tabs.
- Product Tabs Align: Choose the alignment of the tab headings (e.g., Align Center).
- Global Custom Tab: Enable this to add an additional custom tab to every product on your site. You can use this for things like “Shipping Info,” “Size Guide,” or “Reviews.”
Upsell & Related Products Settings #
Manage the product recommendation sections that appear at the bottom of the single product page to encourage cross-selling and increase average order value.
- Related Product Section: Enable or disable the “Related Products” section entirely.
- Related Section Title: Set a custom title for the related products section. The default is “Related products”.
- Upsell Section Title: Set a custom title for the upsell products section. The default is “You may also like…”.
- Products per Page: Set the total number of products to display in the related and upsell sections (e.g.,
12).- Products per Row: Control the number of products displayed in a single row within these sections for different devices.

2products per row.Important: After configuring these settings, click the “Save Changes” button in the Customizer to apply them. Use “Reset Section” to revert all shop general settings to their defaults.
