This powerful feature allows you to backup your entire Digishift theme Options configuration, transfer it to another site, or restore it easily. You can find these settings in Dashboard > Theme Options > Import / Export.
Export Options #
Create a backup of your current theme options settings or copy them for use on another Digishift-powered website.
- Copy to Clipboard: Click this button to copy all your current theme configuration data to your computer’s clipboard. You can then paste this data into a text file for safekeeping.
- Export File: Click this button to download a
.dator.jsonfile containing all your theme settings. Keep this file safe, as it serves as a complete backup that can be used to restore your site’s appearance if anything goes wrong.
Import Options #
Apply a previously saved configuration to your site. This is useful for migrating settings between development and live sites or restoring from a backup.
- Import from Clipboard: If you have a configuration string copied to your clipboard, paste it into this text area and click the Import button.
- Upload file: Click to select and upload a previously exported settings file (
.dator.json). After selecting the file, click the Import button.
⚠️ WARNING! The import process will overwrite all existing option values in your customizer. Please proceed with caution! It is highly recommended to export your current settings as a backup before importing a new configuration.
